About the Committee
Technical Committee for Standardization (TC 23) was established on the basis of Gazprom OJSC in 2007. TC 23 develops national standards for the oil and gas production and processing equipment and technologies, translates and harmonizes all international standards for the Russian oil and gas sector. Cooperation of TC 23 participants is carried out on a voluntary basis. The Committee incorporates 61 organizations, including the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, Rosstandart (Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology), the Ministry of Industry of Russia, Rostekhnadzor (Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia), Gazprom PJSC, Rosneft OJSC, LUKOIL PJSC, Surgutneftegaz OJSC and others.
